Just FYI on Email Security on the website.

Whoever from this message board comes out the idea of replacing "@" to "/at/" for email addresses to prevent email spamming or collecting email information is incorrect. Yes, the idea of replacing "@" to "at" works, but why adding "/" to front and end of "at", it is just making it as worst as just using "@" in email addresses.

Here is the reason:

It is very easy to create a program to scan a website and collect the email information by using the pattern matching on email addresses. Which means, basically, the unique pattern for email addresses is "account_name" + "@" + "domain_name" Simply replacing "@" to "/at/" is not breaking the pattern. It is just creating another new pattern; "/at/" just becomes the new unique pattern on the email address for replacing the old pattern of "@" ("account_name" + "/at/" + "domain_name"). " If someone want to collect the email addresses from this website, he/she can just using the new pattern to do the email addresses matching. No wonder lots of people are still getting lots email spams by just replacing "@" to "/at/"!!!

The better way for putting the email addresses on the websites is to break the unique pattern on email addresses. In English websites, put your email address as "abc at yahoo dot com" (not /at/ or "at" or (at), just the word "at") and in Chinese websites, put it as "abc 在 yahoo 點 com" As the words of "at", "dot", "在" and "點", they are just the common words from the sentences. If someone does a email pattern matching on this, then he/she will get lots of useless data before getting the right hit on your email address; it is just increasing the difficulty of getting the right email information.

It is not 100% bullet proof method, but it is much better than just replacing "@" to "/at/".
